Oamaru’s Whitestone Cheese Co was established a response to the recession which hit New Zealand in the late 1980s. Since then Bob and Sue Berry have built a family business which has become one of the town’s more significant employers. We talk to Managing Director Simon Berry about building a multi-generation family business and making traditional cheeses with a New Zealand twist.
